Both of my parents are classically trained in fine art this was a major influence for me to go into the creative field. Throughout school I excelled in creative subjects and in college I studied the BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design. This is where I first began to take an interest in Product Design. Now that I’ve graduated as a Master in Product Design from Sheffield Hallam University I am at the peak of my skills and abilities. I push and strive to be the best I can be. Projects from large companies such as Kenwood and Berghaus have given me good insight into how the industry works and during my placement period at Morphy Richards I learned valuable skills in designing for manufacture, working with various materials and mass production and working partners overseas. Design for me became a lifestyle rather than work or a hobby. I love visiting design exhibitions and meeting like-minded people.
Born in the Ukraine I can speak fluent Russian and Ukrainian. I enjoy travelling and have visited many different countries and been to some amazing places. In my extra time I play Ice Hockey which is a deep passion of mine. I played for my university Ice Hockey team (Sheffield Bears) and currently local recreational team. I have represented the university in tournaments and the annual Varsity game which is the biggest University ice hockey event outside of North America. Through playing hockey I have developed excellent team work skills as well as leadership. I was also on the club committee as the Media Secretary, I was in charge of all the clubs promotional material as well as other design related tasks such as the club uniforms and merch.
